"There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love." 1John 4:18
That's right there is no fear in love. When you love someone, you should not have to be afraid of them. When I was growing up I had respect for my parents and knew if I did something wrong that I would be corrected, but I was not afraid of them. I respected them and behaved out of love.
